Yes it's the same club, my advice is to come down and see what's what.
2wd is by far the more popular class, both 2wd cars you have mentioned are very good, the kf is designed for dry weather racing so in the hands of a novice will be tricky in the wet so with this in mind look at mid motor cars.
Cougar sv range would be a safe bet as we have plenty of guys running them so help is close to hand.
