not sure if this has been brought up already, but as I was in need of a front bumper for my Lazer, and not wanting to pay $50+ for it ( I am Scottish after all)
I had a look around today at in my local hobby store.
I grabbed a DER-208-A Bump Skid piece for an RC8, it was $7.
Now I haven't tried to install it yet, but lining it up with the chassis, it sure does look like with minimal trimming it'll fit.
Some good pics here, show how it appears to fit similarly to the stock item.
