So, how are we all planning on protecting the lovely alloy chassis from scratches, scrapes, etc?

I have (maybe rather foolishly), already cut up the undertray and mounted the side sections as per the manual. I plan on using the Proline Phantom B44.2 body, which is narrower than the full undertray anyway, so wouldn't have been able to use the full cover. Replacement Tamiya undertrays (#54133 TRF511 body & chassis fairing) don't seem to be too readily available either.

Ideally, someone would produce a pre-cut protective sheet for the chassis, with screw holes. They are available for other buggies, but as the 503 is so new, it could be some time before they are available. I have some carbon-effect vinyl A4 sheets that would offer some protection, but then there wouldn't be any screw holes without a whole lot of precision cutting being required...
