Mmm - this is very interesting... the car does look to have possibly been built from a 94' kit.... but using a 93WCS chassis plate + has quite a few nice upgrades as already pointed out.
That WCS chassis i'm sure is an original - not a modern Fibrelyte one - i'm intimately aware of every contour/hole on the 'standard' WCS & Masami option chassis that they produce.. since I drew them up! The added cut-outs in the chassis on daz75's car (beneath motor & spur) I guess were done by hand to emulate those that Masami had done in his own World's Winning car... 'my' version of the Masami chassis is narrower than the kit item - as this is what Masami had done also... this chassis looks to be the standard width?
The really interesting bit is how the front belt has been made to work with this arrangement... now its been a quite a long while since I restored my 93WCS... & i've not owned a 94 car... but in various e'mail discussions with fellow Oople & RC10Talk member 'YZ-10' it would seem that the distance between the layshaft & front diff is less on a 94 car compared with my 93WCS - so in order to run a 93WCS chassis on a 94 car without re-drilling the chassis (to move the whole rear gearbox assemblies forward) you would need a different/longer topdeck & belt!
