Just for a bit of fun over the summer we are adding a Vintage class to the Summer Series.
Rules will be very relaxed. We are looking at cars around 20 years old or older so cars like Losi XX, RC10s with the old gold/black aluminium chassis or anything else or a similar or older era. A few of us have already got Losi XXs so I think these might end up being the popular choice. We will also allow the re-released RC10 "Classic" to run.
Motor/electrics/tyres choice completely open as we do not want people to go out and buy stuff specifically for this class but you may want to tone the motors down a bit as I am not sure some of these cars will appreciate 5.5T motors being bolted in.
The talk is currently around 8.5T to 10.5T but I think even this will be too much for some older cars.
As I say the idea is to keep it as relaxed and cheap as possible however we are aware what a competitive lot you are and if someone starts lapping people due to either overly competitive cars or in the case of Steve/Dan better thumbs I reserve the right to alter the start grid of the final significantly
We already have at least 5 entrants with cars so this will happen. If you want to join in and do not have a suitable car speak to Steve Brown who
may be able to assist.
