FINAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR TOMORROW SUNDAY 23RD
Thanks to great interest in the open evening we've secured an extra hour at the venue, so the track will now be open and operational for 3 hours. Free practice at first, then 7 minute practice sessions, organised into heats based roughly on ability. Marshall the session after your run, should be time for 5 rounds of 4 heats of 7 minutes; maybe even more free practice at end of night.
Track will open as soon as it's set up, so feel free to arrive at 1730 and help us! Track should be open by 1800. Track closes at 2100. (Any help packing up appreciated!)
POSTCODE for venue is TN37 6RS, YMCA sports hall in Hastings, Sussex. Signs outside are "The Y Centre."
PARKING: There is onsite parking, but a kids party at the venue before us, so if you arrive when we do just before 17.30 you may need to park in the road, or in the LIDL car park almost opposite the venue. Lots of space, no restrictions. Drop your kit off first by all means.
TABLES/CHAIRS: We've loads of chairs, but if you have a pit table please bring it. Tables for 10/15 available at the venue, approx 30 coming.
POWER: We have 240V but as it's our first night we'd love it if you could bring any extension leads, multi plugs etc.
We've put loads of effort into the evening and setting up the club generally; a great and wide track layout with properly built jumps! (and free Tea and Coffee!)
