Futaba 3VCS or Sanwa Exzes Z are the ones to have.
I would recommend the 3VCS as I have one and it is totally reliable and can use FRSky receivers at £23 a pop as against the Futaba ones at over £100 each!
There is also the 3GR which is not as highly specced, but the bits missing are not used in cars much anyway, so it is a relative bargain at under £250.
Everyone I race with using the Sanwa rates it very highly indeed. 12th is very demanding of radio reliability, speed and accuracy. The 3VCS and Exzes Z are the most popular radios in our pits - 'nuff said! HTH
