Just wondering: How much grease did you put in the diff? Also, are you sure the slipper pads and disks are clean and degreased?
Also, don't worry too much tightening the diff further: I recall I run mine about 1/2 - 1 turn from fully tightened (that is with ceramic diff balls by the way).
