Ok, so a little update on the Couger 2 rebuild/restore. While im waiting for the chassis and side plates to be finished, I thought I would start cleaning up the old plastics and fit new where needed and also what I could fined.

So the front hubs have been stripped cleaned and have ceramic bearings fitted. The front end also has a new front bulkhead, new hinge pins complete, new front hinge pin holder, new front carbon fibre shock tower and new purple nuts. The front wishbones are mint so was really lucky as the rest of the Couger 2 was well used so I think these must have been replaced at some point.

The rear also has new rear hubs, new rear carbon fibre shock tower, new rear hinge pins and new nuts. Again the rear wishbones are mint and like the front must have been changed as both do not represent the condition of the couger 2.

Next on the list of cleaning is the ballraced steering posts and parts and the steering mechanism.

So here are a few pics so far and as soon as the chassis and side plates come I will go back to building and completing the gearbox.

Dont tell the Mrs ive stole the pastry brush
