Correct
New MTR PTX is compatible with the new RC4 decoders and the older ones.
If your looking at buying a used MRT PTX that's RC4 compatible make sure it blinks on power up.

Here's the previous older model showing how to change the PT number should you not have your own number and there's a clash of numbers at a race meeting. You can do the same on the newer model also
