i used to race at club level 15-20 years ago. for christmas i got my son an Electrix Ruckus truck, partly because it looks bullet proof and so he can havde a bit more fun.

i've noticed that there is a club just down the way from us (eden park raceway) and fancied giving it a go again.

what sort of stuff do we/he need to get racing? when i raced i had an rc10 (no other numbers after it!) and a couple of 1700 stick packs.....roughly one for each heat and one for the final. i have two batteries for his truck but think i'd need another two as i dont have a 12v battery or field charger

i gather things have changed a bit and could do with a bit of help.(also fgor me getting involved)
