First things 1st, welcome back to the hobby/sport

In buggy racing any motor/Speedo combo is allowed, I would suggest something like a 7.5 or 8.5 motor (brushless) and suitable esc

Tires are available from myself at the club on Friday evenings and Saturday championship days
99% of drivers use Schumacher mini pins on the rear and low pro cut staggers on the front (both in yellow compound)

Front shock/carpet protection wings are also available from me (courtesy of Wes)
