Your post says it's a bmax2...hence the cut staggers suggestion!

If it's a Bmax4 (II or III) your using then your right, it would be different!

I tend to use yellow mini pins all round on mixed carpet/polish floors...as that gives the most responsive grip level generally. Mini spikes would be vague at best in comparison...usually! But it does depend on your floor...as they vary a lot!

Using mini pins I tend to trim off the outer rows of pins up front to get the balance right.

Various options in setup to try after that if they just don't grip right...posting your setup would help...but as Dan says, try that in the Yokomo section
