I've just bought one of these to get back into racing.
I know I'll hear whinging saying it's no good, but who knows?
I've raced a second hand B4 many years back and I was disappointed after hearing so much raving. It did nothing but snap like carrots, and no matter what I spent on it or did to it, I just struggled to get it through a race meeting. I did better with a tired old Tamiya Madcap
So.. I went to 4wd. Thinking it'll be easier. An X10 Predator was bought secondhand. It handled well, and was a lovely piece of engineering... but it was really nose heavy and tight for space.
So I think sod it...Why not just buy one and find out?
As you said, it looks quite like a Baja 5b (So it'll look good on the shelf next to it

) And it looks like it has quite sturdy shock mounting points. Not those fragile 'horn type' shock mounts. I've done a bit of homework before I bought it, and found that no upgrade parts are available for it yet, but I found on the BSD website, that there's also an brushless RTR version.
I'm going to put my own brushless set-up in it. Something soft to start with so I can learn the easy way.
Have you raced yours yet?
