So I decided to go for a 1:1 paint scheme look. Being a F1 and McLaren fan the choice was obvious.
But it got me thinking... why don't we do this all of us? I mean most competition RC cars these days have kinda derived from the old 'goal' as to resembling a full scale racing car. We have nice enough paint jobs but it's a bit 'off' when you think about it - flames and splash patterns, very colorful. Plus stickers of the brands we PAID for. 99% of us are not sponsored so why do we advertise for free for them?
I encourage more to do full scale lookalikes - it's cool and it'll make it more interesting IMO to watch for the general public
Imagine how cool it'd look if all cars were a copy of a full scale racing team!!!
