Look up CPC, they are like a public version of the industrial farnell catalogue, so no trade account needed.

They stock a good range of that kind of stuff, and I've bought balance connector bodies and crimps from them in the past.

The challenge is the crimps though, they need really good quality and compatible crimp tools, which cost a bloomin fortune as they are very crimp specific....otherwise you get very frustrated and terrible connections!

I gave up in the end as I didn't want to fork out for the right crimp tool, and now butcher pre made cables instead.

With VERY careful scalpel work you can remove the pre crimped wires out if the headers (by releasing the tiny locking barbs) and remake them as needed.

That's been the easiest way I've found so far!
