I doubt it: It has a belt running through the middle, and the bulkheads of the center transmission don't allow a battery to run alongside of it I believe.
Anyway, it was 'clear' it was coming, but I guess I'm surprised by the amount and nature of the updates
It's looks like a really nice bit of kit, though I'm happy I bought an 'old' K1 last week: I think the ball diffs will work better for me
Edit: Just wondering, what's the thickness of the new carbon chassis plates?
