Some of the higher rated stick packs are great. Good value and plenty of power. 60C 4800 Shorty pack is great. The saddles however aren't great. Well I thought they were fine in 2wd, but 4wd really stresses them out. Mine took a right beating earlier this year, two of my three packs swelled up and were coming off after a race hot. I was running 4wd with Tekin Gen2 7.5 motor. My two 4800mAh 25C packs came of the worst, I don't use them now. The 5100 pack whist fine, is now my practice pack. I replaced them with HPI plazma pro 5600 95C packs, which have so much more punch and feel lots faster all through a race, and come off cool, not at all warm to touch, like the Gens ace did.
Big burst C rating numbers perhaps are a bit meaningless, however continuous C ratings are what matter. The Gens ace 4800mAh 25C rated saddles can deliver 120A Max continuous output.
I ran my Yokomo ESC with the MAX current logger to read after the race with the program card, and it was regularly recording max current at 150-170A after a 4wd outdoor race. Clearly this was stressing out the 25C packs, causing the heat build-up and pack swelling. I'd say of your ESC's can delivery the current, and the motors can draw it, then you need packs who's output can match.
If they did a higher C rated saddle pack, I'd certainly try them again.
