i have found no problems with using mine in the wet, except that it is not water proof and therefore needs more protection. i have found that it is quite agressive compared to my old brushed motors, however that is how i like my cars, and also love driving in the wet [apart from all the cleaning and such ] i have not yet used my novak L motor in the wet but im sure it will calm things down a bit.

as barnyard said, if you already have Lathes and such then there is no a lot of point in rushing into buying one, but still if you add up the costs of brushes and everything neededin cleaning and replacing worn parts of the brushed motors then, in the long run, a brushless system is a lot more cost efficient especially if you take the opportunity of buying a cheaper second hand one that is near new. Offers like this also become available in the forsale section of the site.

hope this has helped you
