As the DEX410v4 will adopt the more traditional battery layout of most other cars on the market including the Max, without having tried the III, I'd guess as a typical saddle pack buggy it is easier and more consistent to drive than the DEX. For me, the plastic tub B-Max4 has been the easiest to drive and set-up buggy since I started with the Tamiya Grashopper some time ago, and I can't imagine the new kit will be worse.
