I'm curious why he left in the first place... Everyone's talking money, maybe there are other reasons? Being that Horizon Hobby/TLR is a large operation (for the RC business, anyway) and the location of TLR, I can imagine even at his level he may have (had) a limited role in the development of the 22 and 22-4 because it's more practical for TLR to test all their stuff in the USA (at least, for all I know that generally has been the case with the 22-4).

I don't know much about Darren, but I can imagine after such a long time you're looking to do something new, work with new people, vent your ideas on buggy design... Whatever it is, I'm just saying money doesn't have to be the driving factor for his departure, his spot at TLR was probably a well payed one
