Hi Morlock, the graphite arms look very much the same as the plastic ones, just a kinda 'dusty shade' compared with the plastic ones.
Ran the car yesterday at our UK national series, (here come the excuses) I had some bad luck with wires de-soldering, turnbuckles popping off twice and it took me a few heats to get the car setup right (missed 2nd practise). Think I got it sorted pretty well in the end but this, added to my lack of race talent, meant I ended up in the bottom final on the day, doh!
The graphite arms seem pretty tuff, I got stuck against some piping at one point and someone slammed into the back of me, their car broke mine carried on fine.
Other than motor wire coming off, the only other problem I suffered from (twice) was a rear ball cup thingy popping off. I think one must be deformed or worn out a bit so I’ll replace it, didn't break any other parts all day so that was good.
Oh I did lose a bit of blue alloy, one of my front spring retainers, in the final which was annoying, not sure when I lost it, but again that's my excuse for doing poorly. Did anyone find one and can I have it back please?
