I really dunno... I love(d) my XX4, still have it. It was very good to drive. But if it can keep up speed wise to the other cars these days I'm not so sure. It's shelved now as the belts snapped on astro. How much wider are the new belts? Would it be possible to beef up the old XX4 with new belts/pulleys???
I would guess it has a dual slipper clutch like the old car too.
How about track width and axle distance - is that changed vs the old car? (the XX4 is both short & narrow)
Myself I'm ordering the 2014 Xray XB4 for now
