Has anybody know what exactly this mod changes? I've seen so many people do this and say it's great, but nobody explains why.
with the arms swept forward for toe angle, flipping the shock holes to the backside would actually push them further out from the chassis slightly compared to normal. That would effectively be the same as a slightly stiffer spring. It seems like most people extend their wheelbase when they do this. Is the difference in handling just the result of the change in wheelbase?
I just weighed one of my shocks and it came out to 20g. I think moving a total of 40g to the very back of the car might make the biggest change. I'll have to try it and see how it comes out on the scales. I could always use more weight over the rear in my car.
