Besides the Traxxes, the tamiya Dynastorm had long front shocks.

I personnally like the TRF501 shocks but I must agree with the majority here : Losi shocks are by far the easiest to work on and have a good tuning range. i always thought AE were good (coming from Schumacher shocks) but the Losi's are just so much easier to get consistant. Just consider when you want to put internal limiters in your shocks : it's a no-job with Losi compared to AE shocks.

If you go for Kyosho shocks : take the 3-ring shocks from the RB5. The ones I had on my ZX5 in 2006 were almost as bad as the stock shumachers in the 90'ies.
