The shock tower protector isn't made by Schumacher, therefore not another 'add on' bit as you call it. Trish races at clubs where they try to protect the carpet from damage so this is a good idea in my opinion.
There aren't any confirmed details on the car as of yet. We are still very much at the prototype stage so parts are constantly changing as we develop for different surfaces etc.
