No car is 'best', just like no car is the best 2wd. You have to choose what is best for you, and the best for you is usually whichever one you can get spares and advice for the easiest.
For someone inexperienced with them the best car is usually whatever is popular at your local club, so you have plenty of people to ask for setup advice.
