Some of the sensor cables have odd things going on with the temp sensor wiring.

ALWAYS run Orion sensor cables with my Orion gear as I've had an issue with a 3rd party cable in the past forcing the ESC in to thermal protection even though the motor was relatively cool.
Never had any issues with the Orion cables when used on other peoples equipment (lent a few out recently), moral here is buy Orion
