I had a really enjoyable days racing today. It was a quiet enough day with just a small number of drivers (14), so it was really relaxed.

I arrived to find one lad with a pile of drills and tools as he had spotted a bit of hose that needed sorting.

Any time people broke bits on their cars someone jumped in with help or spare parts to make sure they could get back out and race in the next heat.
All day drivers went around asking other drivers how their car was going and passed on any new things they had heard.

The young drivers were advised how to do better (then they done better and beat the aul lads).

The top guys went around advising and helping us poo drivers how to make our cars better. At one point I had 3 guys adjusting my car, and yes it went better.
Then a jumbo breakfast roll appeared on my table.

Its what makes the DMCC one of the most relaxed and enjoyable clubs ive ever been in (not just rc cars).
Im not just saying it cos im on the committee, but i really do think the DMCC is a really great club. Well done to all involved in making it that way.
