I've just got back from Oswestry national on a grass track, before it chucked it down with rain, I got a top 30 in round with 5000 oil in it.

That's really helpful, I raced my tm2 on worn grass/dust a couple of weeks ago, with 1000 oil in the diff. The car was stepping out in all the traction areas, I was going to try a ball diff, but thicker oil might be a worth a shot.
