This is the second way I put mine in. I first ran the wires around behind the spur and under the upper brace similar to the way Masami did his. This was much neater but was a pain in the butt to work on, running the wires overtop allows me to pull the whole works out without soldering.This allows me to put in a brushed system within a few minutes.


I also put two fans on to help keep the unit cool but I still have a hard time keeping it cool. I am using the stock spur and a 12 tooth pinion on the Neo 4 star and it is stupid fast. To get the correct gear backlash I had to file the slots for the screws a little longer. I am just maxing out on speed as it is still accellerating at the end of the straight. If anybody uses this setup I had to really dial down the speed control to get traction offroad and used the throttle exp.to get more control on loose surfaces.
