Yeah possibly Andy. Was only running 5min runs and on last run sat it down on track and it literally lost power. Thought it was the pinion come loose as the motor was just spinning up, but yeah pinion shaft had become "unglued" from the magnets.
Sent back to Schmacher who should warranty.....I hope
