Hey Stu,
I went from the exact same radio as you have now (with all the "jitter" bugs it has) to an old KO Esprit II and then converted it to 2.4Ghz.
Best single upgrade I ever done.
TO be honest, now I would advise going for the newer Esprit III Universe but all good I think.
Bottom line, stepping up from that horrible Etronix (and you will agree its horrible once you get up to speed with your new TX) is a very worthwhile investment I reckon.
