Not really, it feels rough and brittle but is expected for a home made chassis.

The tub from fibrelyte is perfect however and they are basically the only maker for this car. Yes different names like comcom or wasp but all made in the same place but not with the same cell layout as per my right picture. This is a quality piece of kit, i used my proto chassis for ten years, three club events a week plus a race on the weekend and was still in good nick when i sold it on. The intention for the design was to protect my servo and esc from marshals feet and less flex but didnt realise how good a design it was.
