The only cut staggers I've seen on 4wd cars are the full height U6759 ones normally fitted with a tubby insert to fill out the tyre when stretched over the full width of a 4wd front wheel.
I think the low profiles are designed to be run without an insert on 2wd cars.
Not sure on the under driving of the front wheels, you could try it with Schumchers on the rear and Ballistic Buggies on the front as the have different rolling diameters, BB being smaller. But the Hudy 1/8th set up book says that it's not recommended to under drive the front wheels. I guess with 1/10th and no centre diff you would put undue strain on the transmission.
