I purchased an Ansmann W6 radio but discovered the exponential function doesn't work (it's going to have to be sent back
). Looking at this thread it appears this is a common problem with this model:

It was meant to replace an 18-month old Ansmann W3.1 which I was perfectly happy with despite it being a basic 2.4Ghz system, although the receivers are expensive at £45 each and one of the 3 I have has started to misbehave every now and then.
Can anyone reccommend a good 3-channel steerwheel radio with 10-15 model memory, D/R, EPA and EXP, for which extra receivers are reasonably priced? I'm not tightfisted but at the same time i'm not looking to spend a million pounds on a high-end Futaba or KO, as an average club driver I just don't think I can justify or get the best out of it.
Also i've heard a lot about Spektrum systems browning out and I use Savox 1256/1258 servos in all my cars, so would this be a problem?
