Surely Vintage racing should include Vintage running gear as well otherwise it isn't Vintage. An exception should be made for radio but speedos and motors should be Vintage or modern equivilent.
Vintage cars dont handle so well at high speed and if you start hitting track marking and other cars and breaking things people will get put off very quickly. You need to make it fun and exciting and when you have lots of cars the same speed it makes the racing.
I wont be racing Vintage but just be careful how you set this up and try and get it right from the beginning so that people keep coming back for more.
