Well you could always do what I did and buy a Mamba Max Esc and use Orion brushless or any brushed motor.

I hear Novak is good (Dan Greenwood uses one) and I know LRP are good but the company that has been in this field a lot longer than them is Castle creations and thats why i bought it.

They have a better package for me due to being more tunable than the others, but it doesnt have sensored technology, its just a brushless sensorless and brushed esc, but is incredibly efficient and no matter how bad you treat it the esc still keeps on going like stink.
