They work really well on batley track in dry and damp conditions and indeed have much more drive out of corners on the worn areas of grass.
They are good on the astro as well.
In 2wd I use a answer medium foam insert.
I use the A compound. they last much longer than minispikes.
I still use a SCHUMACHER cut stagger on the front though as this gives good balance.
