TRAFFIC INFO UPDATE...
IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING LOCAL ROAD CLOSURES....
It has come to our attention that some roads are closed on the morning of the Southport regional (16th June) due a triathlon event in Southport.
The road closures are from 6.45am to 12 noon. The affected roads according to the events website are quoted below.
Road closures will be in place for the 20km Bike course which takes a left along Marine Drive and travels South adjacent to the beach onto Coastal Road and out towards the roundabout at Pontins, before returning along the same route and past Waterside Lodge, through Fairway roundabout and turning before the Plough (A565) roundabout.
Please use alternative routes and allow a few extra mins to you journey time.
Remember gates open 7.30am.
