Yes.....the Triad makes a big difference on low grip tracks.
You can easily set the slipper to have a broader working range which makes it much easier to get on the throttle out of turns
These are the parts I've used:
-AV1020-Mod Slipper set (81 & 84 Spur)
-AV1020-TOP-KYO Triad top shaft
-Kyosho 96643 Shim set
I have used 4mm of shims on the slipper side of the gear and 0.5mm on the short side.
This setup has 0 slop but still run free and cool
And it is recommended from Avid to use a small amount of clear diff grease on the gears.
