Not raced it - took it for a blat round during practice and it went very well considering I had no idea where to start on setup. Needs work but within half a lap I had a huge grin on my face apparently!
Burty - if you look at the current crop of "Supercars" - the equivalent these days of the old Group B era, some of them do look like touring cars. Perhaps stipulations on ride height and bodyshell height may help. I don't think worrying about mudflaps is an issue worth considering really.
Tyres - well hopefully the surface would dictate that slicks wouldn't be suitable - or have it in the regs that no slicks allowed?
Shells - well it's got to be a rallycross car not a touring car. I'm sure a shortlist of allowable shells could be drawn up.
I was trying to promote this as a fun class idea - not the sort of thing that would warrant an endless list of rules and regulation. If anyone wants to run a TC shell - go TC racing!
