How would you control the rallycross cars to stop the cars not ending up like touring cars going over bumps? Where would the line be drawn? shells, tyres, ect.

Certian rules need to be made so that its clear whats what.

i decided to look at rallycross regulations and i can only find two that could be applyed to rc. the rest are dictating engine size and what can and cannot be removed.

one being:

"Under no circumstances can any part of the
bodywork or the suspended parts of the car be
below a horizontal plane passing 40mm above the
ground, the car being in normal race trim with the
driver strapped into his/her seat."

Ie 4mm in 1/10

the other being:

"At the start of each heat or race the car
must be fitted with mud-flaps behind all four wheels
extending to a minimum of 38mm either side of the
tyre tread and to a maximum of 76mm above the
ground."
