I'm so glad i found this thread, we we're talking about rally x a few months ago thinking it would be a good option. Our idea was to build a figure of 8 track (bridge jump) comprising of dirt, gravel tarmac.
Finding a cheap maybe old style car maybe tt01 and converting them to suit the track, maybe different rally groups i.e motor spec. I personally think this would be a great class to run and fun to watch.
I'm sure body shells could be done to suit a particular chassis
