Rallycross Si - not Rallying - subtle difference there.
I guess that's why the surface at FORCC is more suitable than most then. Polished wood floor without an excess of jumps and obstacles lends itself to being able to modified TC chassis as well as the buggies.
I'm not saying the class is going to take off - I just built the car for fun as I'm a Group B nut - but it certainly went well and generated some interest last week. Who knows - if enough get built we may be allowed to run a heat for a few weeks at FORCC to see how the class goes?
I agree with you on Southend though - 1990 British Rallycross GP I finished 3rd in the D final with a CAT XLS running a John Welch Opel Xtrac replica shell - good days!!
