Dont know about the reventon but it does work in the gt series
I Had the hobbyking x car esc and hobbywing and speed passion firmware worked in it
Ive been told that speed passion amd hobbywing are the same esc's
Sorry I cant help more but I am unsure aboyt the reventon esc
