Been playing today with a £40 personal gps tracker off the bay, loaded with a payg sim card on same network as my mobile.
Can get co-ordinates or google map link with a text message command 
Seems to do what it says on the tin 
Hopefully try some long range FPV at the weekend

I've not yet had a flyaway!
Actually I did with the v949, but I found it looking in the area i thought it went down, and revved up the props to make a noise, then located it from the sound.
what GPS tracker are you using? Link?
