There is no official definition of vintage.
Early vintage
races had a cutoff of 1990, meaning anything up to the Procat and Optima Mid was allowed. Technically the Lazer ZX just about made it as it was released right at the end of 1989, but most didn't allow it. The US vintage nationals allow anything up to 1994, so that includes the Works 93 and Cat 2000.
If you believe ebay then vintage is anything that stopped being sold last month.
