Thanks for the replies guys At a certain moment I also tried it without the slipper on (just the shaft in there) - still the same problem - and I didn't see the screws protrude beyond the motor plate. I think if I'd put just the layshaft in there it turns out that is the part that runs tight. I'll try to find some time to look into that tomorrow, I'll keep you updated
