You could look at using different thickness axle shims and place either side of hub to move driveshaft/pin/hex back and make the track slimmer.
Not a problem i've had with 22 as Minipins are not homologated for our BRCA Regionals but they do sit a lot wider than minispikes etc and ican get my 22 with 1.5mm hexes and mispikes in the box no problem... rubs slightly with BB minispikes but just keep scrutineer distracted when you squeeze it in! (the car in the box that is!)
